The first piece of downloadable content will be dropping later this month; 24th for Call of Duty Elite Premium members on Xbox LIVE. As well as the new downloadable content, Robert 'fourzerotwo' Bowling recently tweeted a list of fixes that the development team were looking into for Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer.
The developers of the game, Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, have taken on board the same frame of mind as Treyarch did with Call Of Duty: Black Ops; they are listening to the community and providing fixes for problems and bugs within the game. Whilst Bowling and the rest of the team are looking into what they are going to amend to make Call Of Duty: MW3 the best multiplayer experience to date, we bring you the details of the upcoming software update for January.
- Spawn Logic is being updated, which will prevent revenge spawns from occurring
- Exploiters of the Prestige Token glitch are either being banned or having their stats reset and subsequently being removed from the leaderboards
- A possible solution is in the works for Tactical Insertion in Free-For-All
- A fix for extra custom classes not showing up in split screen
- Discussions are taking place regarding the fading objective marker whilst aiming-down-sight, music volume in game and lag compensation
- Possible nerfs to the Striker, FMG9's and the Type 95. Adjustments to the FMG9's and Type 95 on top of ones already made, and a possible buff to the Shotguns.
