The Call of Duty Elite app is now available to download from the Android Market.
The features available are the same as the iOS version that was released last week. You can view your Career Summary, Recent Matches, edit your Custom Classes, and track your Challenges. Any edits made to your Custom Classes via the app, will automatically update the next time you load your game.
Having just recently acquired an Android phone myself, I have downloaded the app. Personally I find the app to be a brilliant edition to the Call Of Duty Elite experience. Not only can you view your own stats, but you can view the stats of your friends as well. However you will need to know the exact PSN/X-Box Live ID of the player in question.
The Recent Matches feature is great, as not only can you view how you performed, you can also view the scoreboard. Which gives you the options of viewing scores, deaths, kills, match XP, assists and K/D ratio.
I have yet to try out the Custom Class feature, but I'm sure it will be great. Having the option to amend your classes when ever and how ever you please on the go is something I will make great use of. Many times I have had conversations with friends about what classes they use, and liked the sound of a set up, only to forget all about it when next got in game. Now that problem will never again occur.
Performance wise, I have had no problem with my Samsung Galaxy S2. That may well be due to the dual core processor. I'm unsure of how well older android phones will handle the app speed wise, however as long as it does what you want it too, then I'm sure everyone one will love it as much as I do.
