Three new videos have dropped for Call Of Duty: Elite showcasing the two new downloadable content maps that landed on Xbox Live for Elite Premium subscribers today.
The two new maps named “Piazza” And “Liberation” are the first of many to be released over the course of the next nine months. Also featured in one of the the trailers is a sneak peek at two brand new unannounced maps, likely set for a future DLC release.
Xbox Live players who have the free version of Elite will not get their hands on the maps until the full DLC bundle comes out sometime in March.
PS3 Premium Elite subscribers look set to get the two new maps shortly after the Xbox Live release, although no definite date has been announced yet, but they look set to get their hands on them before Xbox Live players using the free Elite service.
A new page has appeared on the official Call of Duty website to show the Content Season calendar. The calendar shows what will be released each month for Premium members on Xbox Live, although the only differences between platforms will be the dates. It reveals that twelve maps, six Spec Ops missions and two Multiplayer modes are the twenty pieces set to launch in the nine-month period, although it's possible that the schedule can change.
Not yet an Elite Premium member? It's not too late! Sign-up whenever you want and you will automatically get the DLC that has been released so far, as well as be in line to get the next pieces earlier than members registered on the free Elite service.
