The PlayStation Network will be down for scheduled maintenance from 8am to 9pm PST, on January 19th.
Sony's online service for the PlayStation will be unavailable for a period of time due to scheduled maintenance. In approximately half an hour from the time this article was published the service will be down for about 13 hours.
According to Sony, you will not be able to use the following services:
- PlayStation Store on PS3, PSP, and Media Go
- PlayStation Network Account Management
- PlayStation Network Account Registration
- PlayStation Home
- Music Unlimited & Video Unlimited services
You will also not be able to sign into PSN with us.playstation.com.
If you are signed in before the maintenance and still signed in when it begins, you will stay logged in but not be able to use any of the above services. You will still be able to collect trophies, and they will update to your online profile when the PlayStation Network goes back online.
Stay tuned to Digital Warfare 24/7 if Sony makes any alterations to the maintenance scheduling.
