Infamous website 'All Games Beta' have released a leaked video that shows a 3-minute CGI cinematic trailer for first person shooter game Far Cry 3.

The trailer, which was originally intended to see an official launch on 16th February, was leaked via AGB a day early and shows the game's protagonist, his girlfriend, and what appears to be his friend on holiday on a remote island, before being captured and taken hostage by the game's main antagonist. The end of the trailer is perhaps the most interesting and crucial part, however, as it confirms a September 6th 2012 release date.

The game was originally slated by many to be seeing a March 2012 release date. However, the new trailer confirms that the actual release will be much later than that, landing at the beginning of September instead. Developers Ubisoft have stated that gamers can look forward to a colourful, vibrant new world in which to cause as much mayhem as they please.

The trailer has now been officially released, despite its expected arrival tomorrow. Watch it below.

What are your opinions on the new trailer? Excited for the game, or perhaps you're disappointed at such a late release date? Let us know on the official Digital Warfare forums, or leave a comment below!
